Nathan is a versatile musician, singer, songwriter, music producer, and audio engineer currently residing in Calgary, Alberta. With a musical journey spanning over 25 years, he has explored various genres, including funk, jazz, hip-hop, and rock and roll.
​
His formal education includes a diploma in jazz and contemporary music composition from MacEwan University, complemented by a bachelor's degree in commerce. Nathan has also earned a certificate in audio production from the Academy of Production and Recording Arts.

Nathan's introduction to music occurred during his childhood involvement in hip-hop and breakdancing. However, his musical pursuits took a more significant turn during junior high school after a snowboarding accident left him bedridden with two fractured vertebrae. To pass the time, his mother gifted him a guitar, marking the inception of his musical journey. Nathan delved deeper into music during high school when invited to join a band for a battle of the bands competition, ultimately igniting a lifelong passion for playing the bass. While maintaining a love for playing the guitar, he also acquired drumming skills along the way.

As Nathan's musical journey evolved, he discovered a profound love for composing music. To enhance his skills, he enrolled at MacEwan university, where he learned the intricacies of composing and producing music, furthering his career in the audio-visual industry.

Nathan draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Victor Wooten, Queens of the Stone Age, Rage Against the Machine, Michael Franti, Brillion, Boards of Canada, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, and Iron Maiden. His dedication to musical expression and continuous learning reflects a commitment to evolving as an artist.
